Foundation Honors Board Members

Board members are the life-blood of any nonprofit organization, and in the case of the Williamsburg Community Foundation, they are a crucial part of the day-to-day activities of the foundation. On April 2, three long-standing board members completed their second terms as members of the board. Michael Fox, Kerry Mellette and Russell Tabb were each honored for six years of service on the foundation’s board. Michael had served on both the foundation’s Development Committee and its Trustee and Governance Committee during his terms. Kerry had served on the Distribution Committee and as chair of the Trustee and Governance Committee. Russell had served on the Distribution Committee and the Trustee and Governance Committee.

Also on April 2, the foundation board elected seven new members to the Board of Trustees. They are Fanchon Glover, Kathy Hornsby, Kendall Kerby, Bob Kiley, Michael Maddocks, Roger Schultz, and Robert Topping. They were welcomed to the Board of Trustees with a small reception following their appointments .
