2009 BUSINESS PARTNERS

Business Partners have recognized the importance of the Williamsburg Community Foundation and will support its operations through its early years. The Make A Difference Fund will also award grants to the community from a percentage of contributions made by Business Partners each year. The Make a Difference Fund grant recipients will be selected by representatives from each company.

The Business Partners Make A Difference Fund awarded three grants this past July. One will help The Arc of Greater Williamsburg provide transportation for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The second will help the Heritage Humane Society in their effort to eliminate pet overpopulation in our community through its Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program. The third will help support the Jamestown 4-H Education Center's Outreach Education Program to bring programs on Outdoor Education, Environmental Awareness, and Team Building to area schools. With your generous support we will be able to help others in the community next summer.
