Individuals, civic organizations, and companies can sponsor a Named Scholarship by contributing a minimum of $1,000. Non-discriminatory selection criteria may be established by the sponsor. Named scholarships may be given:
- In the name of the donor (individual or business)
- In honor of a designated individual
- In memory of a designated individual
You may also establish a permanent fund in your name, which will support students in our community forever. Click here for more information on how to establish a fund through the WCF.
All donations that are not given for a Named Scholarship make up the General Fund. Most scholarships are awarded from the General Fund.
