The Williamsburg Community Foundation connects people who care with causes that matter in our community..forever. The Foundation is a collection of gifts given by local donors. The gifts are invested. Each year earnings are returned to the community in the form of grants. These funds grow with each new gift and produce income that will continue to meet local needs for generations to come.

01/09/2013 - The American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012
The Williamsburg Community Foundation is pleased to inform area donors and nonprofits that with the passing of the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012 (H.R. 8), the charitable deduction will continue to be coupled with an individual’s or household’s corresponding tax rate. There is no cap on charitable deductions. For example, under the new tax law the highest tax bracket will be 39.6%. Therefore, affected earners can deduct 39.6 cents for every dollar donated...more
